Have you thought about applying to the Fulbright Scholar Program but are unsure where to start? The Office of International Programs (OIP) can help. A special information session for EACPHS faculty has been arranged for Wednesday, April 10, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the WSU Applebaum building, 259 Mack Ave., conference room 1130.
Jaclyn Assarian, associate director for international programs, is the campus representative for the Fulbright Scholar Program. She will provide information about faculty awards available for U.S. citizens, and provide advice on creating a competitive application.
At this session, you will learn how the OIP can help you apply for this cultural and educational exchange program that offers nearly 500 teaching/research awards in more than 125 countries.
Fulbright awards are available for faculty at all stages of their career, from post-doctoral staff to senior-level professors and administrators, to conduct research, teach, and/or contribute to capacity-building projects abroad. The Fulbright Scholar Program is sponsored by the U.S. Department of State and administered by the Institute of International Education and World Learning offices in Washington, D.C.
